Prelude
This is an instrumental that I intended to sound primitive. As much
technology as is used on the album, it seemed to me that I could
have this piece make the absurd attempt
to trace the history of music from crickets and voices through the first
technology: logs. Then on to drums, and finally culminating in my little
cheap guitar.
Of course I used pretty much every techno-toy in the studio to do this.
