This is a  little something I did last week and decided to go ahead and post here. 

About a month ago I was in Village Music and made an impulse buy (generally a good idea in a music store) of The Christopher Parkening Guitar Method.   I’d discovered him in the dorm music library long ago and couldn’t resist buying the book now.

I looked through the basics (what is a whole note, what are the note names of the strings, etc.) and pretty quickly jumped to the end and found a simplified version of this old war horse.

Not exactly a performance to tear up the world of classical guitar, but the best I’ve ever played classical guitar - and a lot of fun to learn.  

This represents about a week’s worth of practice from seeing it to deciding to make a video to then realizing that the video could wind up being the only surviving movie of me playing guitar, to this somewhat better version.
